Earlier this year, the Government of B.C. announced funding for a new youth transitions program and workers. The program will support youth from care, from the age of 19 until their 27th birthday. New workers will provide transition planning supports for youth in and from care as early as age 14, up until their 25th birthday. To support the launch of these exciting changes and extend its reach to those who could benefit most, they need help brainstorming names for the new program and its workers. The naming initiative is led by the ministry’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) members, with the support of MCFD staff.
Young people across the province can submit their ideas and suggestions.
