Empowering youth in and from government care in BC

The Adoptive Families Association of BC is dedicated to supporting youth in and from government care, adoptees, and adoptive families across British Columbia. 

We offer youth bursaries as well as programs like AgedOut.com. This program gives youth a place to be heard, feel supported, and develop life skills.

We also promote awareness of the thousands of BC kids and youth in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development, hundreds of whom are waiting for a family.

We provide province-wide information, support, and education to parents who are thinking about adopting, or who have already adopted.
