Most of your health care is covered by the Medical Services Plan (MSP). As of January 1, 2020, the MSP premiums have been eliminated but you still need to be registered to access health care. There are also services that help you pay for prescriptions and if you have a Status Card, you can get additional health benefits for free.
Get a BC Services card at an ICBC office.

If you have a BC Services Card (CareCard) then you are registered. If you don't have one, get a BC Services Card.

Fair Pharmacare pays for some of your prescriptions and medical supplies. The program is based on your income and you have to apply before receiving coverage.
